According to Apple, the iPhone 5 unit which was not updated to iOS 10.3.4 this weekend will not be able to connect to the internet. Basic services such as the App Store, iCloud, email and web browsing via Safari or Chrome will also stop working. Over-the-air software updates will become unavailable, even though there is a solution for this. If users forget to install software on the iPhone 5 on November 3, they must back up and restore data to the computer before moving to a newer iOS release. Apple initially stopped developing iOS 10 two years ago after the release of iOS 11 but was eventually forced to fix it this summer to help maintain the compatibility of the older iPhone and iPad. Meanwhile, the fourth-generation iPad is also affected by changes even though the only function that will be affected is GPS. However, to anticipate, it is better to install the update.
