Starting with its appearance, the phone looks great thanks to the dewdrop notch on its screen. As expected, the notch serves as the dwelling place of the front-facing camera – 8MP. The camera works smoothly with f/2.0 aperture. It is capable of capturing and recording 1080p images and videos. If the notch and chin are taken away, you’ll be left with 78.8% screen-to-body ratio for your viewing gusto. Given the phone’s 6.01-inch screen, that’s sufficient enough for decent multimedia relay. More so, resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels teams up with 283PPI density for the screen’s vibrance. Huawei opted for an aluminium alloy covering that looks good from every angle. With no fingerprint sensor in place, only the camera setup and Honor emblem are found at the phone’s back. The camera -13MP- captures low light images well with the support of the LED flash. Even so, HDR and panorama images can be taken by this camera too. As sure as taxes, the MediaTek Helio P35 can’t fail on you whenever you’re intensively using your smartphone. And why’s this so? It is built on 12nm FinFET process and carries octa-core 2.3GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. A 3GB RAM works side by side with the chipset while 32GB or 64GB is available as the ROM for file storage. Android 9.0 Pie OS backed up by EMUI 9 handles anything software on the device. The 3,020mAh battery provides modest duration on the smartphone.
