HUAWEI P50 Features
HUAWEI P50 is a high-end Android smartphone equipped with a 6.5 inch (2700 x 1224) display, CPU is Snapdragon 888 SM8350 2.84GHz octa-core (4G), 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage capacity and triple camera comprising 50 megapixels + 13 megapixels + 12 megapixels. It features a triple camera with 5x optical OIS, an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a 4100mAh battery that supports quick charging 66W. Biometric authentication supports fingerprint authentication sensor (under-display) and face authentication and it is IP68 rated which guarantees protection underwater. The connection port is USB Type-C, and there is no 3.5mm earphone jack. Google related apps and Play Store are not available as Huawei’s original “Harmony OS 2” is adopted as the OS. In the aspect of the camera, it comes with high-performance cameras, but 5G is not supported. The Leica-marked rear camera comes in a three-lens specification with optical image stabilisation, and the configuration is 50 megapixels (main 23 mm F/1.8) + 13 megapixels (ultra-wide-angle 13 mm F/2.2) + 12 megapixels (telephoto optical 5X 125 mm, F/3.4 OIS).

Available in three colours: black, white, and gold. This device is to be released in China in September 2021, the price is 4488 CNY (about ₦286,000 in Nigeria) for the 8GB/128GB model and 4988 CNY (about ₦317,000 in Nigeria) for the 8GB/256GB model. HUAWEI also announced the 6.6-inch high-end model HUAWEI P50 Pro.
