But now MediaTek has officially announced that the chipset comes under the name Kompanio 1300T. Yes, the chipset is a Dimensity 1200 which is specifically for tablet devices. Made with 6nm fabrication and has an 8-core processor, this chipset can produce higher performance. But MediaTek also states that this chipset will have a slightly hotter temperature. Kompanio 1300T will also support 16GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. As for the screen, this chipset can support 120Hz 1440p which means this chipset can be used on flagship tablets. Because it belongs to the flagship category, MediaTek Kompanio 1300T already supports 5G networks for the best internet speeds today. The plan is that the tablet device running the Kompanio 1300T chipset will be launched in the third quarter of 2021. We’ll just have to wait for more information later!
