To Activate The MTN Magic Sim is very simple and straight forward… See steps below.
STEP 1
Recharge N250 on your MTN sim.
STEP 2
Dial 131141# to subscribe for MTN 2 hours data plan. This service cost N250 and it will be deducted from Your SIM immediately.
STEP 3
Rightly after your MTN sim have been activated for that plan, you should get a message as seen below… Quickly, switch on your mobile data and make sure you browse for about 5 or 10 minutes. NB: You don’t have to be on any special tarrif plan to use this, so far your sim is MTN then you’re good to go!
STEP 4
Next up, is to remove your MTN SIM from your phone and keep it for 24 hours. NKH folks calls it “Incubation”, Incubate your sim for 24hrs+!
STEP 5
Immediately after 24 hours, Insert the Sim back into your phone then switch on your data.
PHONE SETTINGS
Use default MTN access point;
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net APN TYPE: default, supl No need for IP and PORT.
When you insert your sim back into the phone and try to browse but it refuses. Kindly restart your phone. It should start browsing afterward. NB: This sim can be used on any device, ranging from PC modem, Android, Windows, iPhone, symbian and the rest. Most importantly, it doesn’t even require any form of Simple server/Netloop VPN, Psiphon and the likes. HOW TO FIX MTN MAGIC SIM NOT WORKING OR CONNECTING

Tip 1
Switch off your data and switch it back on, it should pick up.
Tip 2
Switch on and off the Airplane mode.
Tip 3
If you’ve followed one and two and still the same, restart your device.
Tip 4
Done 1, 2 and 3 still no changes… Go to settings » Access Point » try to toggle between different “Access Point” on your phone. Then finally activate back the MTN default access point. It will work!
